Safety Initiatives

Work on the sea or underwater poses many particular dangers.

Based on past disaster cases and the characteristics of the site,

  1. Construction review meeting: Conducted mainly by on-site personnel and branch and construction department executives
  2. On-site patrols: Conducted mainly by on-site personnel, branch offices, and construction departments
  3. Safety conference (once a year for the whole company) and safety and health conference (once a month for all branches)
  4. Experts will be on hand to provide guidance and exchange opinions

Based on the PDCA cycle, we are promoting safety activities with the goal of eliminating accidents.

The main safety activities are as follows.

Company-wide safety goals

Serious accidents: “Zero occurrences”

Our company's criteria for serious accidents are as follows:

  1. Accident resulting in injury or death resulting in absence from work for 3 days or more
  2. Large-scale public disasters

Determination to prevent recurrence of accidents

This is a safety promotion goal to prevent the occurrence of serious accidents.

First, we prioritize safety above all else.
